This vast residence was reconstituted,
within a high historic context with a didactic calling, within a sector of the
city, where the vestiges of the largest houses of the city, where the vestiges
of the largest houses of the southern eastern quarters of Thysdrus were preserved,
along a Roman street in an excellent condition of conservation. The reconstituted
residence will also be nearby the archeological museum, that is to say in a setting
evocative of the original aspect thereof. One of the large rooms will host
a permanent workshop devoted to providing training to mosaic makers, as well as
to restoration and to copy making. This will introduce a great deal of liveliness
inside this extensive space and would be of particular interest to visitors, who
are always after accurate information on how mosaics were made and restored. |
